Last week in Mexico was the Day of the Dead festival and many from Shady Acres went to celebrate. This is a picture of Vi and John who are long time snow birds and got into the mood of the celebration.
It is the season for our garden here in Shady Acres to bloom.
Here are some more of our beautiful colorful spaces. Besides vegetables we also have flowers.
We have so many citrus trees and colorful plants and flowers with the different seasons.

I took a picture of this cactus because it was so different. Cactus grow really large and take many years to get to this size. Some of them are hundreds of years old.
Drive out the city limits and you have some marvelous scenery in our desert area. Shadows and colors are amazing here in summer and winter. Shady Acres is the place to be!
