Eddie’s Grill: Try the Santa Barbara Burger if You Like Bacon
April 12, 2016 | western
Even if you eat a healthy diet most of the time, you have to admit that when a burger craving strikes, there's nothing quite like indulging it. The next time this happens, set your GPS for Eddie's Grill on 4th Avenue. It has some of the best gourmet burgers in town, at least according to more than 30 positive Yelp reviews.
There's the classic charbroiled burger, topped simply with the standard tomato, lettuce, onion, and pickles, plus Thousand Island dressing. You can add cheese, too. Or you can go all out with something like the Santa Barbara burger. This decadent sandwich comes crowned with slices of fresh avocado, thick strips of bacon, cheddar, Thousand Island dressing, and the typical lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onions. If you'd rather bite into sourdough bread than a standard bun, order Eddie's Patty Melt with jack and cheddar cheese and grilled onions. Regardless of which burger you try, don't forget to get fries or beer-battered onion rings on the side.
