Charki’s Teriyaki: Stir-Fries Served Up Hot and Fresh
September 29, 2015 | western
If you didn't know it was there, you'd probably drive right by Charki's Teriyaki. The storefront is nondescript, to say the least—nothing more than a brick wall with a temporary-looking sign announcing the Charki's name. But according to the lucky few who've discovered this hidden gem, the modest aesthetic belies fresh, authentic Asian fare.
When you step inside, head right up to the counter to check out your options. The menu encompasses teriyaki in a range of different preparations, starting with the classics: chicken and beef. You can't go wrong with either of these teriyaki dishes, both served over a bed of rice. But you can also try seafood, like the salmon and shrimp teriyaki or even the spicy tuna. Order your teriyaki as a plate or a bowl. You can also add some veggies to your entree for an extra pop of color.
