Ronnie’s Pizza in Yuma: Take a Culinary Tour of the East Coast
April 14, 2015 | western
Ronnie's Pizza claims to serve the "best East Coast pizza and cheesesteaks in the West," and regular diners say the statement's not far from the mark. In fact, many of Ronnie's repeat customers are transplants from Philly and New York City, which speaks to the quality of food on offer by this no-frills eatery.
As the Ronnie's Pizza name implies, pizza is the specialty here. It's served on a thin crust that — true to East Coast style — toes the line between crispy and floppy. Keeping with authenticity, the list of available toppings is without pretense; expect your standard mushrooms, peppers, olives, and pepperoni. If you really want to take a culinary tour of the East Coast (and you arrive with a big appetite), order a cheesesteak to go along with your pie. Diners say they're some of the best you'll find outside the City of Brotherly Love.
Offering take-out and delivery, as well as a handful of tables for eating in, Ronnie’s Pizza is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
